The Position: We are looking for a HSPRS Case Aid, who is willing to embrace McKinley’s mission and H.U.M.A.N values. The role of the Case Aid is to work directly with the PRS Case Managers in the HSPRS Program. The Case Aid assists in coordinating with the case managers in the areas of documentation, uploading of files, following up on needed documentation for successful release and providing coverage as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we’re offering is $21.00-$25.00 hourly depending (Based) on experience.

Qualifications:

  • The Case Aid at a minimum is bilingual in English/Spanish or identified needed language to meet the needs of the children served in the program.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office-related software
  • Possess superior oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Able to work independently and organize multiple projects with minimum supervision
  • Able to work as a team member
  • Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professional boundaries with clients and staff
  • Able represent the agency professionally and appropriately with all constituencies
  • Must pass pre-employment health screen including physical exam, TB and drug screen
  • Ability to drive to various sites on and off campus
  • Ability to lift 10 pounds for filing
  • Must complete crisis prevention/intervention training (Pro-ACT) within the first 90 days of employment.
  • VACCINATIONS REQUIRED: Be able to show proof of immunization or immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route, including:
    • Varicella: two doses of varicella vaccine (at least four weeks apart) OR born in the United States before 1980 with a reported history of chickenpox (verified by an adult present at the time of illness) OR titers indicating varicella immunity OR documentation from a healthcare provider verifying previous infection.
    • MMR: two doses of MMR vaccine (at least four weeks apart) OR titers indicating immunity to all three diseases.
    • Tdap: one Tdap dose.
    • Influenza: one dose annually during flu season.
  • DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index
  • Insurability under corporate automobile insurance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists the case managers and supervisors to ensure chart compliance.
  • Participates in weekly case consultations/staffing regarding the youth in the program.
  • Ability to implement case plans through good professional judgment while maintaining a team approach is essential.
  • Acts as a liaison with the child's sponsors and/or family members and updates the team with updates regarding documentation.
  • The Case Aide will assist in coordinating travel needs.
  • Complete annual training as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned.
