Receptionist

The Position: We are looking for a Receptionist, who is willing to embrace McKinley’s mission and H.U.M.A.N values. The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently, and will be the first point of contact to clients and guests who will visit the office. The Receptionist will utilize organizational and interpersonal skills to work with all employees and clients.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we’re offering is $16.00-$18.00 hourly depending (Based) on experience.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Spanish/English Bi-Lingual Required
  • Prior Office/Front Desk Experience Strongly Preferred
  • Microsoft Office
  • Above Average Typing Skills
  • Friendly & Personable Disposition Strongly Preferred
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening
  • Ability to commute to various sites
  • DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license
  • Insurability Under Corporate Automobile Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate ShoreTel Communicator
  • Receive and direct visitors
  • Maintain registers of visitors and applicants for employment
  • Assist applicants for employment by issuing applications, job descriptions and referring them to the appropriate supervisor for an interview
  • Responsible for inputting requests for Room Reservations and distributing the appropriate requests for food and room set-up and submitting a confirmation to the requesting party
  • Assist administrative support staff with clerical tasks as assigned
  • Meter, sort and distribute incoming, outgoing and inter-office mail; take mail to post office as requested
  • Order supplies for the administration building, coffee room and turn off coffee machine prior to going off shift and assist in preparing coffee throughout each workday
  • Maintain the neat appearance of the Administration lobby
  • Responsible for maintaining postage meter, i.g. checking on postage meter weekly
  • Responsible for sorting and distributing the office supplies
  • Responsible for distributing all incoming faxes
  • Check paper and toner in copy and fax machines on a daily basis
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Other related duties as needed
