We are currently seeking exceptional Special Education Teachers to join our team at one of our state certified nonpublic schools, Canyon View School in San Dimas and Desert View School in Hesperia.

Our Approach:

We believe in fostering a structured and nurturing trauma-informed environment. We implement an education based trauma informed approach that rewards attendance, work productivity, and effort. Our self-contained classrooms, each led by a dedicated Special Education Teacher and supported by 2-3 Instructional Assistants, provide a supportive setting for learning and growth. Additionally, our counseling and behavior staff offer valuable support to address the unique challenges our students face.

The Role: As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in our students' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Running a homeroom, developing and implementing IEPs, delivering direct instruction, adapting curriculum, monitoring progress, fostering a positive classroom environment.

  • Collaborating with parents and guardians.

  • Having the chance to work with an interdisciplinary therapeutic team and supervise Instructional Assistants.

  • Instructing students in core academic areas and electives, including lesson planning using state standards and common core curriculum where applicable and grading.

  • Supervising 2-3 Instructional Assistants

This position is full time and requires one of the following:

  • California Special Education Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe

  • Intern Special Education Credential

  • BA Degree from an accredited school and some experience working with a special education population

  • A salary range of $66,560 to $85,000 per year.

  • Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm.

  • Tuition and textbooks toward a special education credential up to $5,000 per year
