Clinical Trainer (Mental Health)

The Position: The Clinical trainer will work with key identified resources throughout the agency to improve processes and to ensure training is effectively produced, assessed, and reinforced. The Clinical Trainer will review all existing training material, identify areas in which it is lacking, and create new supplemental material and tests to complement existing material.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we’re offering is $68,640- $80,000 annually depending (Based) on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work or marriage/family therapy required
  • LA, Riverside, or San Bernardino County DMH experience required
  • Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Science is required
  • Licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Science preferred
  • A certified EBP trainer is highly desirable
  • Microsoft Office
  • General Office Skills
  • Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening
  • Ability to commute to various sites
  • Ability to lift at least 10 pounds for filing, boxes, and packages
  • Ability to sit for several hours performing clerical functions
  • DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index
  • Insurability under Corporate Automobile Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver quality, timely, and thorough clinical training for clinical staff, including but not limited to HIPAA, child abuse reporting and treatment approaches
  • Design and deliver quality, timely and thorough training for resource families with adherence to Resource Family Approval (RFA) standards as needed
  • Oversee tracking of clinical training to meet professional, contractual and regulatory standards across divisions
  • Establish and conduct training on quality of care standards, including but not limited to documentation, standards of supervision and legal and ethical considerations
  • Work with leadership throughout the company to improve processes and to ensure training is effectively produced, assessed, and reinforced
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of New Employee Orientation and Training for clinical staff
  • Establish and maintain a clinical training library
  • Maintain clinical training manuals
  • Responsible for the coordination of clinical training events
  • Other duties as required

PROBATIONARY PERIOD:

First 90 days of consecutive full-time employment. We reserve the right to extend probationary periods as we consider appropriate.
