Board Certified Behavioral Analyst

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we’re offering is $60,000- $71,500 annually depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Certified BCBA with a Master’s Degree in Related Field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with students with Autism, Emotional Disturbances, and Pervasive Development Disorders
  • Intermediate Proficiency in Word Processing/Computer Skills
  • Intermediate/Advance Office Skills
  • Excellent Reading and Writing Skills
  • Ability to commute to various sites
  • Ability to physically restrain children
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the school’s behavioral program, ensuring a safe, orderly and conducive learning environment in each classroom by enforcing the Code of Conduct.
  • Provide guidance and direction for the school-wide Positive Behavioral Supports & Intervention Team and classroom programs to assist in the social development of students.
  • Train and assist teachers and school staff in behavioral planning and execution of behavioral plans.
  • Train and assist school staff to properly document behavioral interventions and student learning progress.
  • Train and assist teachers to adapt curriculum to conform to behavioral plans.
  • Serve as a consultant to other administrators, teachers and parents.
  • Train and provide technical support in other areas as requested and appropriate (ie. IEP development, instructional material development, etc.)
  • Provide active supervision of the behavioral support staff
  • Oversee school teams’ data tracking and use of resources related to their behavioral programs.
  • Work with staff in developing data collection systems and monitor data collection to ensure the success of the behavior plan.
  • Monitor timely revisions to behavior plans when needed.
  • Ensure appropriate systems are in place to capture and record all behavioral interactions at various levels for the purpose of reporting and evaluating program initiatives as well as student and/or teacher improvement towards identified goals.
  • Design systematic procedures that result in lasting positive changes in individual student behaviors
  • Attend individual student meetings and write appropriate behavioral goals/objectives
  • Actively participate in the agency’s Program Quality Improvement (PQI) plan
  • All other related duties as assigned
